Alliance Attacks allow Alliance Members to work cooperatively against a Black Site or an enemy HQ. Any member of the “Private” Role and above can join, but initiating an Attack requires specific permissions. The Marshal can set these in the Role Privileges area of the Alliance Center. When given these permissions, a player can initiate an Attack by going to the “Alliance Attacks” tab and selecting a target. Up to 5 Alliance Attacks can be created per day by a single player.
In the Alliance Attack creation area the initiator can apply a Boost, set a dispatch timer, select their participating Units, and write a description for their Attack. The dispatch timer represents the amount of time other Alliance members have to join and send their Units. All readied Units gathered at the initiator’s Base will be dispatched to the target when the timer expires.
To participate, members of the Alliance must take a Slot in the Alliance Attack itself. The first Slot will always be taken by the Alliance initiator, and two more Slots will be open automatically. Additional Slots can be opened individually with Diamonds, or all Slots for one Attack can be opened at the same time with the “All Slots (1 Alliance Attack)” Item.
Once a player has taken a Slot, they must select the Units they want to take part in the Attack. These Units will need to travel to the initiator’s Base in order to be ready for dispatch - any Units that do not arrive in time before the dispatch timer runs out will be returned to their home Base and will not contribute to the final Attack result.
The strength and size of the combined army depends on the overall Offense and Consumption of the participating Units. The Offense of an Alliance Attack can be increased by one of two things: one-time Alliance Attack Offense Boosts, or the 12 h. Alliance Attack Boosts. Both of these can either provide 10% or 25% Offense increases. The 12 h. Boosts can be applied in succession up to three times in a row, totaling a cumulative 36 hours before another Boost can be used.
The amount of Units that can join an Alliance Attack depends on the upgrade level of the “Alliance Attack Squad Limit” Tech by the Attack initiator. The higher the upgrade level, the more Units can join the Attack, as it increases the Consumption Limit. After upgrading to level 18, the player will unlock the ability to send their Attacks before the dispatch timer runs out, and levels 19 and 20 each grant an additional unlocked Alliance Attack Slot to their created Attacks.
