Earning a League Achievement is no one-person job. All League members must work together as a team to succeed. The entire League gets a collective reward upon completing a League Achievement. In addition, in some cases, League members may get their own individual rewards for the part they played in reaching the Achievement. If a League member leaves their League for a new one, they lose all bonuses received from their previous League's Achievements.
