Champion Quests are special missions for you and your Champions. Send your Champions to complete these Quests and get valuable Rewards.
Champion Quests are divided into seven Orders. The higher the Order is, the higher the requirements get, and the better Rewards you receive. The Champion Quest list refreshes daily, discarding old Quests and bringing in new ones.
When Quests get refreshed, new Quests are added with the following probability:
• 1st Order: 25.60%
• 2nd Order: 27.00%
• 3rd Order: 23.20%
• 4th Order: 15.00%
• 5th Order: 8.00%
• 6th Order: 1.00%
• 7th Order: 0.20%
If there is a Quest you wish to complete but are unable to do so at the moment, you can lock it. This prevents it from being discarded during the refresh. However, you will get one Quest less until the locked Quest is unlocked, completed, or removed.
Quests in progress and completed Quests will both be locked automatically. Unlike Quests you locked yourself, they won't count as locked Quests during the daily refresh, so new Quests will still appear.
Missives
Missives are requests for Champions from nobles all across Darkshine. Open one of these single-use Items to reveal an extra Quest in addition to the ones you have received at refresh.
It then behaves like a normal Quest. It will disappear in the next refresh unless it's locked. If locked, it will count against your number of Quests in the next refresh.
Missives can be obtained through a variety of activities and Special Offers.
There are two types of Missives:
1. Baron's Missive. It adds an extra Champion Quest of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Orders based on the following probability:
• 1st Order: 30.00%
• 2nd Order: 30.00%
• 3rd Order: 25.00%
• 4th Order: 15.00%
2. Duke's Missive. It adds an additional Champion Quest of the 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th Orders based on the following probability:
• 4th Order: 60.00%
• 5th Order: 35.00%
• 6th Order: 4.00%
• 7th Order: 1.00%
The chances of receiving the 6th or 7th-grade Quests are pretty low (4% and 1% respectively). However, these have higher chances than the Sapphire refreshes (1% and 0.2% respectively).
Starting a Quest
To start a Quest, you must:
1. Assign Champions to every slot
2. Ensure that the Champions you have assigned fulfill the Quest's Requirements
One Champion can meet multiple Requirements simultaneously, granting greater flexibility to any other Champions assigned to the Quest.
Note: All Champions participating in Champion Quests can be used in other activities, like battling the Undead or accompanying Armies. They can also be Upgraded, Enlightened, etc. However, each Champion can only participate in a single Champion Quest at a time.
