What player interactions are there in the game?
Interaction between players is the heart of the Sparta: War of Empires gameplay experience. This covers all the different ways you can influence and engage the other players. There are several ways you can perform actions with other players.1. You can easily interact with your fellow Archons from the Map interface:
Go to Map and click on other player's City.
You can choose an action (Send Reinforcements, Besiege, Raid, etc.) from their City's pop-up menu.
2. You can also interact by visiting their City.
Go to other player's City. Choose the action you want to perform from the "Action" menu.
Alternately you can conduct most interactions from the War Council.
Use your War Council, Embassy, and Port to perform military actions, conduct Coalition Operations, and trade with other players.
Read your reports to keep track of your military actions, diplomacy, and resource and Articles exchanges. You can also set different Filters to sort your reports for the most relevant information.
Spying Missions
Sign the Agreement with Delphi and build the Stables to begin purchasing Scouts and start performing Spying missions.Dispatch Scouts to other players' Cities to gather information. Spying missions allow you to gather information about the number and type of Units in other Cities and Colonies and their current Resource Levels.
Read your reports to view the outcome of your spying mission and review any collected data.
To perform a successful mission, your Scouts must defeat any enemy scouts currently defending the location. The more Scouts you send, the higher the chances of the mission being successful.
To perform a spying mission, use the target City's pop-up menu on the map, "Actions" menu in the player's City or "Contacts" tab in the War Council.
Raids
Raiding rival Cities is the fastest, most satisfying way to earn extra Resources in the game. To conduct a Raid, choose the number and type of Units you want to send. If your Raid is successful, you will seize a certain number of Resources. The amount of Resources seized depends on the carrying capacity of the Units that survived the Raid. After the Raid you will receive a report detailing the number of losses on both sides, and the amount of Resources your Units were able to return to your City. You can Raid any player except your Allies.
You start the game with 10 possible Raid attempts that may recover Resources. These Raid attempts are recharged at the rate of 1 new Raid every 2.5 hours. Each Raid attempt is counted at the time your Units depart your City. This means that if you have used all 10 of your available Raids and send an 11th Raid, your Units may destroy enemies' Units, but will NOT recover any Resources.
5% of captured Resources will be subtracted as the cost of the Raid.
To perform a raid mission, use your Target City's pop-up menu on the map, the "Actions" menu in the player's City or the "Contacts" tab in the War Council.
All units hidden in the Acropolis cannot be deployed on Raiding missions until they have been recalled from the Acropolis to their duty.
You can also raid other Cities from your Battle Reports - just open a Battle Report and click the "Revenge!" button.
Siege
To lay Siege another City, choose the number and type of units you wish to send. If you succeed, your units will besiege the enemy City and you will move up in the Siege Rankings. Besieged Cities can only be liberated if the besieged player produces enough offensive units (or receives enough reinforcements) to overcome the occupying garrison. If your City has been besieged, you can still produce units to defeat your invader or ask your Friends to send you Reinforcements. Once made a Protectorate, a percentage of your Timber or Bronze production will be confiscated by the Besieging Archon until your City is liberated.Siege can be performed in 3 ways:
From the Map:
1. Click «Map» in your City.
2. Position the cursor over the City you want to besiege.
3. Select «Besiege» from the options menu.
From within the options menu while visiting an enemy City:
1. Visit the City of the player you want to besiege.
2. Click «Besiege» on the «Actions» menu.
From the War Council:
1. Go to the War Council
2. Find the City in your "Contacts" tab.
3. Click «Besiege».
Laying siege on other Cities allows you to establish your dominance over rival Archons, place in the Siege Ranking, and harvest a percentage of your enemy's Resource production. The Top 10 Players in the Weekly Siege may also earn Drachmas for holding their positions. Laying siege on an opponent will not eliminate them, but it will give you the option of annexing their City. While a rival city is made a Protectorate, you may take a percentage of their total Timber or Bronze production.
To collect all Resources accumulated in a Protectorate, click «Collect» when the button is active.
To select a different besieged City to harvest, remove one from your Protectorates list and add the desired City from your "Garrisons" tab.
Reinforcements
Send Reinforcements to support your Allies or defend locations. You can view Reinforcements other players have sent you from the "City" tab in your War Council. While you will be unable to command friendly Reinforcements, you may return them back to their rightful owner at any time.
All Reinforcements you send will be maintained at your own expense. This means that if you send Reinforcements to another City, they will still be consuming your Grain.
To send Reinforcements, use the Map location's pop-up menu from the game map, the "Actions" menu in the destination City, or the "Contacts" tab in the War Council.

Please note that there is a maximum limit to the number and total amount of Resource gifting transactions you may send to one player each day.
