Overview
Your Command buildings are responsible for all the non-military functions that manage your Castle's diplomacy, research, and trade. You start off with your Town Hall already built - but you'll need to build a Market, House of Scrolls, and Embassy before you can engage in any trade, arts, or diplomacy.
Town Hall
Your Town Hall is where you administer all the day-to-day functions of your Castle and its populace.
From here you can view:
- Warehouse and Barn Resource capacity
- Food consumption
- The number of Lost Arts you've discovered
- The number of Allies and Enemies you have
- Ranking points
- Buildings currently under construction
- All buildings you've constructed and their current Level
- Castle coordinates and development statistics (Castle size, Defense Bonus, Intelligence Defense Bonus).
Click on any parameter to upgrade it.
Upgrading your Town Hall reduces the construction time for all buildings available in the game. The Town Hall is already built when you start the game, so it won't appear on any construction menus.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Upgrade Sketches to upgrade it further. Upgrade Sketches can be acquired from the Black Market or earned through various in-game events and activities.
Upgrade Town Hall to level 22 to receive a Special Bonus - a permanent increase to Experience gained in battle!

Obelisk of Power
Build the Obelisk of Power to begin using Skull Runes to customize different attributes of your Castle and Units.
Skull Runes
Skull Runes are signs of power etched into the Skulls of your fallen enemies that can be used to cast enchantments over your various Units and Castle attributes. You will receive Skull Runes with every new Experience Level you reach in the game. The number of Runes received with each level-up will increase over time:
Levels 2 – 34/ 2 Runes
Levels 35 – 64/ 4 Runes
Levels 65 – 79/ 6 Runes
Levels 80 + / 8 Runes
Skull Runes CANNOT be bought at the Black Market, given as gifts, or traded. Skull Runes have been applied retroactively to reflect your current Experience Level.
Using Runes
Click the Obelisk of Power to access the Rune Tree. On the Tree you will see all game Units divided into Groups. In order to unlock different Unit attributes and branches on the Rune Tree, you must progress through each Group sequentially. To get started, use two Runes to unlock Group I by clicking the "Unit Group I" and then "Apply" button. You'll notice that applying each Skull Rune takes time - this time will increase with each additional Rune you apply to a Unit.
Redistributing Skull Runes
IMPORTANT! Once you've applied your Skull Runes, you will get ONLY ONE CHANCE to remove them for free. To remove a Skull Rune, click the "Edit" button at the top the Rune Tree, and then click the "-" symbol next to the Skull Runes you want to recover. When in Editing Mode, you may ONLY remove Skull Runes you have applied and put them back in your Rune Bag. When you have recovered the Skull Runes you want, click "Apply" to make your changes permanent. You may now redistribute your recovered Skull Rune as you normally would (this includes waiting while the Skull Runes are applied).
After your one free edit, the payment in Sapphires will be demanded for additional changes. The price will increase each time. Take your time and consider your strategy carefully!
