When activated, Nanochips improve the combat statistics of your Units. There are eight different types of Nanochips, each of which improves a certain characteristic for a certain class of Unit. Your choice of Nanochip will depend on which type of Unit you wish to focus on.
To manage your Nanochips, you will need to upgrade the Nanotech Lab. The higher the Level of your Nanotech Lab, the higher the Level of the Nanochips you can combine and activate.
This Building has several slots in which Nanochips are stored - these are found in the bottom portion of the interface. There are also special slots Nanochip at the top, where Nanochips are activated. Only one Nanochip Activation Slot is open at the beginning of the game. You will need a Nanochip Slot Unlocker to unlock new Slots. Nanochip Slot Unlockers are available from the Store, but will also be given to you for free on Days 15 and 32 of the Daily Roll Call.
If you wish to activate a Nanochip in an already-occupied Slot, you will need to extract the currently active Nanochip first. Nanochips can be removed safely with a Nanochip Extractor item. If you do not use an Extractor, the Nanochip will be destroyed.
Extractors that can be used on Level 1-4 Nanochips are free. Others will need to be acquired from the Store. All Extractors are single-use.
You can upgrade your Nanochips to make them stronger by combining them in the “Combine” Tab of your Nanotech Lab. To do this, you will need two identical Nanochips of the same Level. Tap on the desired Nanochips in your storage Slots, then tap “Combine”. Upgrading your Nanotech Lab will allow you to combine higher Level Nanochips, up to a maximum of Level 12.
Nanochips are found in Nanopacks. These items are acquired in the following ways:
- As a Reward for participating in a Tournament
- As a Reward for completing a Special Op
- In exchange for Diamonds at the Store
- By completing certain Resource Runs
- As a Reward for certain days of the Daily Roll Call
