My Paragon status was not activated after I had reached new level of Paragon.

If the Paragon Status is active when you reach the new level of it, you simply receive 1 Day Paragon Activator. It can be found at the Black Market - "Misc." section - "Paragon" tab. The Activator is not automatically used and can be applied when it is convenient.
