Overview
Create Coalitions and work together with other players to fight a war against the Persians and the Army of Xerxes. Coalitions allow players to unite with their Allies in a well-organized command structure under one collective name, banner, ideology and aims. You must advance to Level 5 before you can join a Coalition and Level 10 before you can create one.
You may join a Coalition in the following ways:
- Accept another player's invitation in the "Allies" tab of your Embassy - you will receive a report upon receipt of a new invitation.
- Send a request to a Coalition Hegemon by clicking "Send a request" in the "Coalitions" tabs.
Once you've reached Level 5, you may become a Scholar in a Coalition's Academy without sending an Application; if the Coalition has spaces to train new players in their Academy (the number of spaces for Scholars is limited to 10). To do so, go to the Embassy, open the "Join Coalition" tab and click "Join now". If you haven't decided which Coalition or Academy to apply for, click the "Join random Coalition". This will place you within an open Coalition based on your language preferences and City location. You can be a member of only 1 Coalition at a time. To join another Coalition, you must first leave your current Coalition.
Once you've created a Coalition (which consists of 10 members of the cadre strength) it will have an Academy to educate Scholars. The number of Scholars your Academy may educate at any given time is 10. A player must reach Level 5 to become a Scholar at the Academy.

Coalition Attacks
Coalition Attacks allow you and your fellow Coalition Members to arrange devastating attacks from up to three Coalition Members as you battle to conquer Hellas.Only Hegemons, Polemarchs, Commandants, and Standard-Bearers are empowered to organize and deploy Coalition Attacks and manage their Coalition Members' forces. A maximum of 3 Coalition Members can take part in a single Coalition Attack. Coalition Attacks may be used to capture Pantheons and Capitals, but can NOT be used to beseige or raid enemy Cities or eliminate Positions.
Coalition Attack Mechanics
Follow these steps to participate in a Coalition Attack:
PREPARATION
1. Designate a Hegemon, Polemarch, Commandant, and Standard-Bearer to coordinate and launch the Coalition Attack.
2. Have all participating members select "Send Reinforcements" from any interface to reinforce the attack coordinator.
3. Choose the OFFENSIVE Units required for the mission and click "Send".
ATTACK
Once the attack coordinator has received all Reinforcements needed, they may launch the attack by:
1. Choosing the Pantheon or Coalition Capital you wish to target and opening the "Raid" window.
2. Selecting "Coalition Attack".
3. Selecting the Coalition Members who will be participating in the Coalition Attack (only their Offensive Reinforcements will take part in a battle) and launching the Raid.
Each member of a Coalition Attack will get a report on the outcome of each battle.
Once you've sent Offensive Reinforcements to take part in a Coalition Attack, go to the War Council and open the "Tracking" tab to check current information about your Units location and movement.
If you send your Units for a Coalition Attack all losses and Experience points will be proportionally distributed among those players who have taken part in the attack.
The maximum number of Units that can be sent is determined by the Force Limit of the attack coordinator. All reinforcing Units will continue to be supported by their home Cities throughout all steps of the Coalition Attack.
Coalition Achievements
Coalition Achievements are optional challenges that require the joint efforts of all Coalition Members. Upon completion of each Achievement, each Coalition will be rewarded with a Coalition-wide Bonus that will give them a significant edge over their competitors in Hellas, along with additional perks for each participating Coalition Member. These may include Units, permanent modifications to their City or Unit statistics, or other features. All Coalition Achievements feature multiple levels. Upon completion of each Achievement Level, your Coalition will be rewarded with increasingly larger Bonuses. After completing the required number of Achievement Levels, each Achievement will be rated "Gold". When a Coalition has completed all Achievements at the "Gold" rating, either the Hegemon or Polemarch may take a screenshot of their Achievements (taken at the Embassy) and submit it to the Plarium support team to get a unique Coalition logo.

Achievement Bonuses
There are two kinds of Achievement Bonuses – Coalition Bonuses and Individual Bonuses.Coalition Bonuses
These are awarded to a Coalition collectively upon the successful completion of a Coalition Achievement. These Bonuses can take the form of Ranking Point boosts in the Coalition Rankings, or Coalition-wide bonuses to Unit or City statistics for all participating Coalition Members. Coalition Bonuses earned while being a Member of one Coalition are non-transferable, and cannot be retained upon leaving that Coalition. Coalition Members joining a Coalition after it has earned an Achievement will not enjoy the benefits of any existing Coalition Bonuses. If you leave your Coalition and join another one, you will be able to receive Coalition Achievement bonuses only after you have been in that Coalition for 7 days or more.
Individual Bonuses
These are your personal rewards for assisting your Coalition in completing a Coalition Achievement – these can take the form of free Units or special items. To claim your Bonus, click on the highlighted "Claim Reward" button in the "My Coalition" section of the Embassy once your Coalition has successfully completed an Achievement. Individual Bonuses are one-time offers and, like Coalition Bonuses, cannot be used or earned again once you've left the Coalition in which you received it, even if your new Coalition earns a similar Coalition Achievement.
To view the list of Coalition Achievements, along with their Terms and Bonuses, go to the "My Coalition" tab in the Embassy.
Coalition Influence & Influence Points
Influence Points are used to determine a Coalition's position in the Coalition Rankings.Influence Points are calculated as follows:
1. By converting the territory of a Coalition's conquered Pantheons into Influence Points. A 100:1 ratio is used for conversion, so 1 sq. km of territory equals 100 Influence Points;
2. By factoring in the percentage bonuses:
- from the Coalition's Achievements.
- from the Coalition's various Disciplines at their Coalition Capital.
Both these percentages apply to the Influence from the Coalition's territory held.
3. By adding the bonus Points from:
- the Level of the Coalition's Capital.
- the Coalition's Achievements. (Achievements can grant a static points bonus in addition to the percentage bonus mentioned in step 2.)
For example:
Coalition A controls 2 Pantheons and currently controls 10,000 sq. km of territory, granting it 1,000,000 Influence Points (keeping in mind that a 100:1 ratio is used for conversion). The Coalition then has two percentage bonuses applied to that number: one based on the Coalition's Achievements, and one based on the Coalition's Disciplines. In this case, the Coalition has a few Achievements, and has earned itself a 5% bonus to the Influence Points gained for held territory, meaning another 50,000 Influence Points. On top of that, each Achievement also carries an additional Influence Point Reward, which is then added to the previous number. In this case, the Rewards that this Coalition has earned from its Achievements amount to 100, which, when added to the aforementioned 50,000 Influence Points, makes for a total of 50,100 Influence Points that this Coalition (Coalition A) will receive from its Achievements. Coalition A has also developed its Disciplines, thus earning itself a 10% bonus on the Influence for territory held, which translates to another 100,000 Influence Points. Finally, the Level of Coalition A's Capital is taken into account, and that number of gained Influence Points are then added to the Coalition's total. In this case, Coalition A has upgraded its Coalition Capital to Level 8, thus earning itself another 100,000 Influence Points (for example). These numbers are then added together to give Coalition A its total number of Influence Points: 1,000,000 + 50,100 + 100,000 + 100,000 = 1,250,100 total Influence Points gained.
Coalition Diplomatic Status
Hegemons and those they entrust with Diplomatic Privileges have the right to negotiate 5 distinct Diplomatic Statuses with other Coalitions.1. Neutral – All Coalitions begin with Neutral Status towards all other Coalitions. Coalitions with Neutral relations can still attack each other's Pantheons within normal attack limits.
2. Ally – Allied Coalitions have publically professed their mutual respect and friendship, but are still able to attack each other's Pantheons within the normal attack limits.
3. Enemy – Coalitions with Enemy Status have publically declared their hostility towards each other, but are still restrained to Pantheon attacks within normal attack limits.
4. At Peace – Coalitions who have declared a State of Peace between each other are unable to attack one another's Pantheons.
5. At War – Coalitions who have declared a State of War are not bound by any Attack Limits when attacking each other's Pantheons.
NOTE: ONLY the Hegemon or those who have been entrusted with Diplomatic Privileges can change their Diplomatic Status with other Coalitions.
CHANGING DIPLOMATIC STATUSES
To change your Diplomatic Status with another Coalition: go to your Embassy, open the "Coalitions" tab, find the Coalition of your choice, click on the icon in the "Status" column and choose the desired Diplomatic Status from the pop-up menu. Once you have changed the Diplomatic Status, the other Coalition will receive a notification to accept or decline the new status. Once the other Coalition has accepted the Status change, the offer cannot be cancelled. You and your Coalition members will only see the new Diplomatic Status as active when the other Coalition has accepted the change.
VIEWING REQUESTS
Go to the Embassy, open the "My Coalition" tab and click "Diplomacy" to view all pending Diplomatic requests from other Coalitions.
Coalition Missions

All Coalition Missions are given at random and each Coalition will have 24 hours to complete them. Participation is optional, however each completed Coalition Mission grants epic rewards to your Coalition. Each Mission features multiple phases. Upon completion of each phase of a Coalition Mission, your Coalition will be rewarded with increasingly larger rewards. All rewards you receive are stored in the "Goods" tab of your Inbox. There are 6 Coalition Missions:
1. Train Units. To complete this Mission, a Coalition must hire Units that are worth the indicated number of Power Points. NOTE: You will NOT receive any Power Points for Units added to your Unit production queues before your Coalition received the Mission.
2. Engage Positions. To complete this Mission, a Coalition must earn the indicated number of Points by attacking or defending regular Positions. If your fellow Archons engage Campaign Mission Positions, the Points they earn will ONLY be added to their Ranking and won't count towards the completion of the Coalition Mission.

Building Help
Urgent Help allows Coalition Members to assist each other by sending Resources, sending Reinforcements, or sending Attacks to requested targets.Urgent Help lets the more experienced Coalition Members lend a hand to those newer, less experienced Archons.
Each time you request Urgent Help, your Coalition Members will see your Request in the "Urgent Help" tab of the "Coalitions" interface, which can be accessed from the right-hand side of your screen.
Be aware:
- All Help Requests are visible to all Coalition Members.
- Urgent Help Requests are time-sensitive, and will expire after a certain time - even if unfulfilled.
There are three types of Urgent Help Requests:
- Resource Requests
- Reinforcement Requests
- Attack Requests
REINFORCEMENT REQUESTS
If you are in urgent need of Reinforcements, you can create a Request for additional Units in the "Reinforcement Requests" tab. You can also add a message to your Request, containing any information you deem important, in the corresponding text field. Please be aware that you can only ask for Reinforcements to defend your City. Every Coalition Member is allowed to create this type of Request, although each Coalition Member may only have one Reinforcement Request active at one time. Coalition Members may specify how long they wish their Request to be active for. After the time limit expires, the Request will be removed from the list.
RESOURCE REQUESTS
In the "Resource Requests" tab, you can ask your Coalition Members to send you Resources. Simply select the type of Resource you require and the amount you need, then create the Request. Once this Request has been fulfilled, or after its time limit expires, it will be removed from the list.
ATTACK REQUESTS
In the "Attack Requests" tab, you can create Attack Requests. Attack Requests allow you to ask your fellow Coalition Members to assist you by attacking other Cities, Pantheons, or Coalition Capitals. Coalition Hegemons are responsible for authorizing Members to create Attack Requests on Pantheons and Coalition Capitals, but all Coalition Members can create requests to attack other Cities. You can view a list of all the Archons that have replied to your Attack Request and the strength of the Units they sent to assist you (not including any statistic enhancers or active Bonuses affecting these Units). Only the Attack Request creator is able to see this list, no one else.
The same target cannot appear on a Coalition's Urgent Request list more than once. Each Request has its own time limit: after this expires, the Request will automatically be deleted. However, you can always delete your own Requests manually if you wish.
HIGH-PRIORITY REQUESTS
Requests are ordered according to the time when they were created, with the exception of High-Priority Requests. The Coalition Hegemon, as well as other Coalition members they authorize, may give "High-Priority" status to certain Requests. Requests marked "High-Priority" will be placed at the top of the "Urgent Requests" list, making them more visible to Coalition Members.
REINFORCEMENT REQUESTS VIA THE TRACKING TAB
This is especially useful when hostile forces are on their way to your City, meaning that you urgently need Reinforcements. You can create this type of Help Request by clicking the "Request Help from your fellow Coalition Members" button in your War Council, in the "Tracking" tab. Once you have confirmed the creation of the Request, it will be generated automatically, and will then appear in the "Reinforcements" sub-tab of the "Urgent Requests" tab.
Urgent Help
Urgent Help allows Coalition Members to assist each other by sending Resources, sending Reinforcements, or sending Attacks to requested targets.Urgent Help lets the more experienced Coalition Members lend a hand to those newer, less experienced Archons.
